The Latin American Surf Association chose Ecuador as the venue for the first Latin American Super-Prime Championship, the highest category of this sport.
The event gathered professional surfers from all over the continent on the beaches of San Lorenzo, Manabí.

Results
More than 160 professional surfers from all over Latin America signed up, several government entities gave their support, a large influx of public on all days of competition and permanent media coverage.
